Boy George RETURNS

Boy George, uno de las figuras más notables del pop inglés de los años ochenta, acaba de presentar el vídeo del sencillo ‘King Of Everything’ (El Rey de Todo), el primer corte de su nuevo álbum ‘This is What I Do’, que saldrá a la venta el próximo 28 de Octubre a través del sello Very Me Records. Durante las últimas semanas de agosto George anunciaba el lanzamiento de su nuevo álbum, el primero en dieciocho años como solista. En septiembre el exvocalista de Culture Club compartía ‘King of Everything’, presentándolo como estreno en la sección de música del popular diario británico ‘The Guardian’.
Boy George ha trabajado la producción de este nuevo álbum junto con sus habituales colaboradores John Themis, Kevan Frost y Richie Stevens (Soul II Soul, Tina Turner, Simply Red, Culture Club) y fue íntegramente grabado en los Cowshed Studios de Londres. Entre los colaboradores especiales también se encuentra el famoso productor y compositor Youth y el mítico productor de los ochenta Dave Bascombe (The Human League, Tears For Fears, Erasure, Peter Gabriel, Depeche Mode).
El videoclip de este nuevo single ha sido dirigido por Mike Nichols en diferentes localizaciones de la ciudad de Londres y, tal como cuenta la canción, resume la historia de un boxeador derrotado y su decepcionada esposa, un relato autobiográfico según el propio Boy George.

Between the special collaborators also there is the famous producer and composer Youth and the mythical producer of the eighties Dave Bascombe (The Human League, Tears For Fears, Erasure, Peter Gabriel, Depeche Mode). The pop video of this new single has been directed by Mike Nichols in different locations of the city of London and, as the song counts, summarizes the history of a defeated boxer and his disappointed wife, an autobiographical statement according to the own Boy George.
